Is Typaria the official Myers-Briggs test?+
No. Typaria is an independent personality test. The sixteen types use the classic Jung–Myers preference-pair vocabulary that many tests share; the fifth axis, Assured / Tidal, is our own and is not part of that tradition. Typaria is not affiliated with Myers-Briggs, 16Personalities, or any clinical instrument, and results are for self-discovery and conversation, not diagnosis or hiring.
Do I need an account to see my type?+
No. Your result stays in your browser. Share a compare link only if you want a friend to see how you match.
How do I share my personality type with a friend?+
After the test you get a portrait card and a compare URL such as typaria.com/compare/with/infj-a. They take the same free test. Compatibility appears — no app, no login.
Can I check compatibility between two personality types?+
Yes — every one of the 120 pairings has its own page. Each one shows a Typaria pairing score from the four-letter preference model — not a prediction of relationship success — plus where the combination works, where it snags, communication, and conflict. You do not need to take the test to read them.
Why does the compass look different for each person?+
Each arm of the kite is a live score. Same letters can still draw different silhouettes. Save image draws that kite on a canvas — the PNG is the picture, not a screenshot of the page.
