What Typaria is
A browser-based personality product: a short Likert questionnaire, an instant four-letter type plus Assured or Tidal identity, long-form type guides, and compatibility pages you can share. Scoring and results live on your device unless you choose to send a compare link.
Why it exists
Most people who take a personality test want two things that are rarely delivered together: a result that feels specific, and a way to talk about it with someone else without creating an account. Typaria is built around that loop — take, understand, share, compare — with honest copy instead of pure flattery.
Editorial approach
We write for humans first. We do not invent scientific validation we do not have. We prefer careful language (may, tends to, often) over deterministic claims. Interpretive type and pairing copy is Typaria editorial; factual or psychometric claims are cited from peer-reviewed or primary sources where we make them.
Research approach
The four preference pairs use classic Jung–Myers vocabulary as framework terminology — not as proof that Typaria’s questionnaire is validated. Independent research on continuous traits, dichotomization limits, and reverse-keyed items is summarized on the method page with citations. The fifth axis — Assured / Tidal — is Typaria’s own construct and has not been independently validated.
Use of AI
Draft assistance tools may be used for outlining or editing, the same way a spellchecker is. Published wording is reviewed by the editorial team. AI is not presented as a psychologist, and it does not replace disclosure of research limits.
Corrections policy
If you find a factual error, a broken citation, or a misleading claim, use the contact form or email hello@typaria.com. Material corrections update the page and the content review date. We do not quietly invent credentials or traffic numbers to fill gaps.
Privacy
Answers never leave your browser for scoring. Results are stored on your device. The only optional outbound personal detail is an email address if you use the optional insight form on a result page. See the privacy policy.

Typaria is not affiliated with the Myers-Briggs Company, the Myers & Briggs Foundation, or 16Personalities. We take no payment for placement, run no advertising, and have no affiliate links.
